Pincara, borgo immerso nella campagna polesana, conserva due luoghi simbolo della sua identità, fatta di radici profonde e di storie tramandate.
La Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, secondo gli scritti di monsignor Giampietro Ferretti, fu edificata intorno al 1520 per volontà del nobile veneziano Benedetto Dolfin. Originariamente semplice, con due altari e una sola navata, la chiesa fu ristrutturata e ampliata nel XVII secolo per accogliere l’aumento dei fedeli, e successivamente ancora nel 1833, quando furono rinnovate le finestre, il soffitto e aggiunte quattro cappelle laterali.
Pincara celebra anche la propria vocazione produttiva attraverso il Museo d’Impresa delle Antiche Distillerie Mantovani, inaugurato nel 2004. Il museo ripercorre due secoli di attività della famiglia Mantovani, che fin dai primi dell’Ottocento ha trasformato l’arte della distillazione in un sapere tramandato per sei generazioni. La visita si snoda lungo tre percorsi tematici — storico, tecnico e sensoriale — offrendo un’esperienza immersiva tra tradizione, strumenti d’epoca e cultura del gusto.
