Frassinelle Polesine è un borgo che custodisce una memoria profonda, intrecciata alla fede e alla storia del territorio. Cuore religioso del paese è la Chiesa di San Bartolomeo Apostolo, la cui prima edificazione risale al 1536. L’attuale edificio, in stile neoromanico, fu consacrato nel 1955 dopo la demolizione della chiesa precedente, a seguito dell’alluvione del Polesine del 1951.
A pochi passi, si trova il Sacello alla Madonna del Montegrappa, piccolo oratorio con facciata neogotica: un luogo di devozione semplice, ma ricco di significato.
Un importante esempio di architettura rurale è Ca’ Pesaro, oggi proprietà Mioni, un complesso costituito da una casa padronale, un rustico su nove arcate e l’oratorio seicentesco dedicato a Santa Maria Assunta, voluto dal patrizio veneziano Leonardo Pesaro. Il complesso ha attraversato le mani di importanti famiglie veneziane, dai Dolfin ai Pesaro, dai Gradenigo ai Nani Mocenigo.
Nel cimitero di Frassinelle si trova anche un luogo della memoria civile: il Monumento di Virgilio Milani, dedicato alle 84 vittime del tragico episodio del “camion della morte”, avvenuto durante l’alluvione del 1951. Il monumento ricorda una delle pagine più dolorose della storia del Polesine, quando un camion carico di sfollati partito da Rovigo verso Fiesso Umbertiano fu inghiottito dalle acque, lasciando in vita solo pochi superstiti.
